ABOUT: Toronto’s Winterfolk XVI festival – which will run from February 16-18, 2018, and Nashville Bound will present a jam-packed night of music as a teaser to the upcoming all-ages, mid-winter, weatherproof urban blues and roots festival.
Every year the Winterfolk Blues and Roots Festival engages in special preview performances that showcase some of the finest emerging and established talent the city has to offer. We want audiences to get a glimpse of what will be on offer for the upcoming festival. Artists will perform three sets in the round, which will include guitarist Tony Quarrington w/ singer Zoey Adams, hillbilly swing duo HOTCHA!, flying finger pickin’ aces D’Arcy Wickham and Brian Gladstone, blues mama Kim Doolittle and harmonica slinger Harpin’ Norm. Newcomers include singer-songwriter Meredith Moon, delightful duo Maggie & Mr.Rogers, plus award-winning troubadour Glen Hornblast who’ll host the evening.
LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! We’re always looking for volunteers to help out. For eight hours of service over the Winterfolk weekend, volunteers receive access to all shows and artist hospitality lounge and more! For more info and to sign up, please visit http://www.winterfolk.com/volunteer-wf/
