Guitarist Margaret Stowe has recorded and performed with a host of Canadian/International artists. “Stowe’s departure point is jazz, but her style ranges from folk to blues to world beats, propelled by her trademark high energy and eclectic tastes.” Prague Post. These days she appears with Brenda Lewis, ad hoc groups and shows, and rare appearances by Max Woolaver, Priscilla Wright, and the Missa Gaia Jazz Ensemble. She currently works as an engineer and producer in her recording studio Ozworld on a variety of projects including the Tribute to Tony Quarrington CD, released at this year’s Winterfolk. Tony and Margaret are also working on a CD of Tony’s original songs, Canadian WW1 stories, featuring an array of artists, to be released soon. She also teaches guitar.
