Meg Tennant’s warm, bright blend of rootsy country and a capella songs will stir, challenge, uplift and comfort. |
Meg Tennant’s songs are “beguilingly beautiful” according to Steve Edge, artistic director of BC’s Rogue Folk Club, where Meg opened shows for the likes of Tom Russell and Eliza Gilkyson. Meg has returned to her home province of Ontario after many years on the west coast raising two daughters and nurturing her music dreams. Her solo CD “Driving With You” was released in 2001, exquisitely produced by John McArthur Ellis. Penguin Eggs, Canada’s Folk, Roots and World Music Magazine said “Her crystal clear and inviting voice shines on this collection of ten original songs.” Meg’s a capella songs are currently being performed by choirs in BC, Australia and Sweden. |
