Lynda Marks Kraar got her professional start in the Toronto music scene when she was 17. By the time she was 21 she was fronting Lynda Marks and the Marksmen, playing local clubs in Toronto. She has performed throughout the world.
Lynda is also part of Musicians on Call, a network of musicians who perform in hospitals and other health care institutions.
She’s been teaching guitar for 30 years. For six years she sang in the Jewish People’s Philharmonic Chorus (NYC). She also plays renaissance lute in the New York Continuo Collective. Whenever possible, Lynda can be found playing bass a couple of nights a week at several nightclubs in the Nyack, NJ, area.
