| Toronto-based lead singer/songwriter of Signe Miranda’s Veranda and author of #1 international best selling book, “The Song Creation Formula: 7 Easy Steps to Writing Your Song” recently released a new single with her band, “It’s Been So Long (Spread Out Our Wings),” produced by Greg Godovitz (Goddo). The song blends 60’s psychadellic folk/rock, with 90’s pop/rock. It’s the first release from her band’s upcoming album, Heart Wave, with Jeremy Trites engineering & mixing, at Rouge Valley Studios. The album includes guest musicians, Bob Egan (Blue Rodeo), Oh Susanna and Bill Dillon (Sarah McLachlan, Daniel Lanois, Peter Gabriel), and her band, guitarist/bassist Brian Allossery, drummer Shamakah Ali (Al Green, Shakura S’aida) and keyboardist Peter Nunn (Honeymoon Suite, Andy Kim). “She’s Breaking Up,” from the band’s sophomore album, “September Night,” was #48 on NBTMusic Radio’s top 100 songs of 2012, a German internet-based station. |
